For coffee shops and takeaway counters, compare cup lids by opening, shape and rim fit—not cup volume alone.

Lid styles
- Sip lids have a drinking opening. Compare black and white sip lids by the selected size and product specification. A similar appearance does not establish an identical fit.
- Flat lids have a low profile. Openings vary: some designs have a sipping opening, while others have a straw slot. Match the opening to the intended drink.
- Domed lids provide extra headroom. A raised cold cup lid may allow room for toppings, but confirm the opening and clearance with your finished serving.

Cup fit
Ounce capacity alone does not confirm compatibility. Use the exact cup model, rim dimensions and supplier specification.
- Establish a secure fit with the specified cup before service.
- Test lid performance with the actual beverage, including takeaway transport.
- Stop using loose or rim-damaging combinations. Cup lids do not guarantee protection from spills.
Serving checks
Confirm the intended drink temperature before use. For coffee, tea and other hot drinks, use only a cup and lid specified as suitable for that use.
- For cold beverages, trial the recipe, straw and topping together.
- Avoid overfilling or squeezing the cup rim; keep the opening clear.
- Before serving customers, retest any new cup range—even at the same stated capacity.
Packs and disposal
Count cups and lids as separate supplies. All six listings show packs of 100. Confirm the selected option and contents; do not assume cups are included.
Follow each lid’s material and disposal instructions. A paper cup’s recyclable or compostable description does not automatically apply to its lid. Confirm local collection rules.
