Milkshake Mixes
Shop milkshake mixes from Simply Dinoshakes in chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. Each powder comes in a 1kg bag for preparing drinks with cold milk, following the current pack instructions.
Compare the three flavours below and read our preparation and serving guide to plan your café menu or make milkshakes at home.
Choose your Simply Dinoshakes flavour
The milkshake mixes shown here are Simply Dinoshakes powders in three traditional favourites: chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. Each is listed as a 1kg bag. Choose a flavour for your café menu, dessert counter or home preparation, then check the current pack instructions before making a batch.
Chocolate milkshake powder
Choose Simply Dinoshakes Chocolate for a chocolate milkshake base. Keep the first test serving plain so you can assess the flavour and creamy texture before adding sauces or toppings. Any extras change the finished drink, so measure them separately when developing a menu recipe.
Strawberry milkshake powder
Simply Dinoshakes Strawberry provides the strawberry option in this range. If you add fresh strawberries, trial the finished mixture with your equipment and serving cup: fruit changes the texture and volume. Added fruit is an optional recipe ingredient, not part of the powder pack.
Vanilla milkshake powder
For vanilla milkshakes, select Simply Dinoshakes Vanilla. Vanilla is also a starting point for your own topping combinations. Check the flavour named on the bag when it arrives, rather than relying on a generic recipe description.
How to prepare powdered mixes
These product listings describe preparation with cold milk and a whisk. They are powders to mix into a drink, not ready-to-drink milkshakes. Use the quantities and method printed on the current bag; do not substitute a recipe for another brand or assume every scoop has the same capacity.
Measure the powder and milk
Weigh the powder and measure the milk for one serving first. A teaspoon, a scoop and a gram measurement are not interchangeable. Use the pack’s stated measures and scale both components together when preparing more than one drink.
Mix and check the result
Whisk until evenly combined, following the pack method. Before service, check for undissolved powder and confirm the flavour, consistency and final cup fill. If a trial serving needs adjustment, record the amounts you use so the next batch can be prepared consistently.
Decide whether to add ice cream
Milkshake powder and ice-cream-based recipes are not the same thing. Vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream or whipped cream can be optional additions to a recipe, but they are not included in these 1kg packs. Do not assume they are required by the manufacturer. If using a blender for additions, follow the appliance’s instructions.
Why is my milkshake too thin or thick?
Check the measured powder and milk against the pack method first. Extra milk can dilute the mixture, while added ice cream or fruit changes its consistency. Change one ingredient at a time in a test serving rather than adding powder repeatedly without measuring. Keep any adjustment within the manufacturer’s preparation guidance.
Test the complete serving before launch
For a café menu, prepare the drink in the cup you will use for service, including any toppings. Check that there is room for the finished drink and that the straw suits its consistency. Record the flavour, ingredient quantities and final serving size so different team members can reproduce the same result.
Plan servings from a 1kg bag
Use 1,000g divided by your powder dose in grams to estimate the number of servings per bag. Round down to whole servings and allow for your own preparation losses. The result depends on the dose you actually use, so there is no single guaranteed serving count for every drink size.
When comparing milkshake mixes for a menu, consider the powder used per serving alongside the milk, toppings and cup. A bag’s weight alone does not tell you the total volume of finished drinks.
Check ingredients and storage
Read the current ingredient and allergen information for the flavour you select, as well as the milk and any extras. Do not assume the finished drink is vegan, gluten free or high protein. Using a plant-based drink does not establish the dietary suitability of the powder itself.
Keep powder in a cool, dry place and follow the pack’s directions for sealing, storage after opening and best-before date. Use clean, dry utensils and keep milk splashes out of the bag.
Milkshakes or blended frappes?
If you want a different drink format, compare our frappe mixes separately. Follow the instructions for the selected product rather than transferring a blended-ice recipe to these milkshake powders. Check delivery information for current services and destination restrictions before ordering.
