Frappes & Milkshakes
Compare frappe and milkshake mixes at CCW and find the right format for your cold-drink menu. The products below are Simply Dinoshakes milkshake powders and Simply fruit granitas; browse our separate frappe mixes range for blended frappe products.
Choose chocolate, strawberry or vanilla milkshake powder, or explore lemon, lime, peach, strawberry and watermelon granitas. Use the category links and buying guide to compare pack sizes and preparation requirements.
Find the right cold-drink mix
Use this page to choose a drink format before comparing individual flavours. Coffee shops, cafés, dessert counters and ice cream shops may serve several types of cold drinks, but the powders are not automatically interchangeable. Start with the texture and preparation method you want, then follow the relevant category for product details.
| Drink format | Where to browse | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Milkshakes | Milkshake mixes | Flavour, milk requirement and powder dose |
| Fruit granitas | Granita powders | Pack weight, water/ice method and equipment suitability |
| Blended frappes | Separate frappe mixes range | Base ingredients, coffee content and blending instructions |
Milkshake powders for classic flavours
The milkshake products shown above are Simply Dinoshakes chocolate, strawberry and vanilla in 1kg bags. Their listings describe preparation with cold milk and a whisk. For a classic milkshake, start with the selected pack’s method rather than assuming ice cream is needed. Read the milkshake category guide for flavour comparisons and portion planning.
Fruit granitas for an icy menu option
The fruit range shown here includes lemon, lime, peach, strawberry and watermelon. Lemon, peach and strawberry are listed in 600g packs; lime and watermelon are 1.25kg. Check the chosen product’s water and ice instructions. Do not treat these powders as milkshake bases or assume a single machine setup suits every flavour.
Looking for a blended frappe?
Browse Simply Frappes or Sweetbird Frappes through the separate frappe range. The eight products in this page’s grid are milkshake and granita powders, not those frappe products. Check whether the selected mix needs milk, water, ice or added coffee before planning a drink.
Compare preparation, not just flavour names
A vanilla label does not mean two products have the same function. A milkshake powder, a frappe base and a flavoured syrup may all contribute flavour but require different quantities and methods. Match the exact product to your recipe, and measure dry powder by weight where instructed rather than using a syrup pump or an uncalibrated scoop.
Choose a method your equipment supports
Whisking a milkshake and preparing ice-blended drinks involve different equipment. If ice must be blended, confirm the appliance is designed for it. For a commercial frozen-drink machine, check both the manufacturer’s operating limits and the mix’s suitability; do not infer compatibility from the word granita alone.
Test the complete cup before service
Make a trial serving with the specified ingredients, then check the final fill and consistency. Milk, ice and additions such as whipped cream affect the finished volume. If your recipe includes chocolate syrup or fruit, measure those separately and record the full recipe so the same result can be repeated.
Plan packs around your menu
Compare powder used per serving, not only bag size. Estimate portions using the selected pack’s preparation quantities, allowing for your own serving losses. A 1kg milkshake bag and a 600g granita bag cannot be compared as equal numbers of drinks without considering their different recipes.
Keep product names, flavour choices and preparation notes together when ordering for more than one drink format. Use the dedicated category guides for detailed pack comparisons rather than transferring a recipe from one type of mix to another.
Check labels and delivery details
Read the current ingredient and allergen information for the powder, milk and optional additions. Coffee flavour, coffee content and dietary suitability must be checked for the individual product; a plant-based liquid alone does not make a finished drink vegan.
Store unopened and opened mixes according to their labels, using clean, dry utensils. Check our delivery information for current services and restrictions before ordering. This guide helps you compare formats; the product pack remains the reference for preparation and storage.
